The Fact Is for many years now, people all over Britain have been spending more time, money and effort in their gardens. Consider for a moment how many 'designer' type garden programs there has been on TV today. The whole idea of landscape design seems to have developed into quite a fashion statement.
Possibly as a result of this, the garden industry looks to have become quite a buoyant and diversified industry indeed.
Take the humble garden container tub, this product has done well,
its 'stay looking good for ever appeal' and low retail cost, has fast made it a winner in the garden and patio area of our homes.
Why? Because it has the ability to change an

unsightly or drab area of the garden, into an
oasis, quite easily and for relatively low cost, time and effort!
Have you ever seen placed over a manhole in someone's garden, a round (or square) garden container tub trying to conceal an unsightly manhole cover, hardly inconspicuous is it!
And although it does serve a purpose, wouldn't you think there was something better out there .... Well there is something better .... A GREAT DEAL BETTER.
No longer do you have to go through that 'hide-a-manhole cover with a shrub tub' sequence because, there is a simple solution to the whole business of camouflaging those ugly and unsightly round manholes.

The Chambermate is an inverted (or sunken) garden container tub with some unique and intended features...
- Simply remove your existing round manhole-lid and discard. Drop-in the new inverted container tub. It can now be filled with soil and then turfed (or seeded) for lawned areas or filled with soil, peat, etc, for flowerbeds, borders etc.
- In 99.9% of cases the new cover will fit nicely into any existing round manhole frame already in the ground.
- If however it doesn't, a purpose-made frame can be fitted in minutes.
- It has round holes on the top flat area of the rim, where the purpose-made keys slot in, to enable the
cover to be removed (to allow access to the manhole chamber).
- The flat-rimmed area at the top of the container (approx 30mm wide) is the key to finding the
cover in long grass.
- Made from Polypropylene and therefore less expensive to produce when compared with alternative products available - lightweight too.
- Priced favourably when compared to alternative products on the market.
- Once established, this new innovation will rapidly make the use of other manhole covers in the garden area obsolete.
- In tests, it exceeded BS. EN123.A15 (the same minimum standard that is required for cast iron and galvanized steel lids sold today.
- Tested to withstand 3.5 tones, which is quite amazing really.
- Perfect for driveways
