Q Is it strong enough to do the job?
A Yes, the Chambermate withstands 35kn (3.5 tonnes) so it is ideal for around the house and on private driveways.

Q How do I remove it for maintenance?
A There are two holes in the rim, where purpose made keys are inserted, once in place, you simply lift off as would a standard flat cover.

Q Will it fit all round manholes?
A It will fit around 99.9% of 450mm diameter round manhole chambers (for the remaining 0.1% you may have to replace the manhole's frame with a new one but doing this should be quite simple and available from Chambermate or www.Peter-Savage.co.uk)

Q What colour is it and are there different colours to choose from?
A Standard colour is black but larger orders can be made in alternative colours (Green, Earth Brown etc...)

Q Can this be fixed to the existing manhole chamber?
A Yes, by inserting two screws you can connect this to the existing frame. 

Q What material is this made from?
A Our Chambermate is made from 100% recycled materials and is made at home in the UK.

Q Are there similar products on the market?
A Yes there is a similar cover, which has straight smooth sides. This product is inferior to the original Chambermate as it cannot take the same loading, and therefore you should be warey about it being used on driveways.
